Generator Preventive Maintenance & Repair Guidelines & Procedures

In order to protect your investment and adhere to the manufacturers’ recommended generator maintenance guidelines and procedures – please read the following.

GenReady, Inc. is a certified GENERAC generator dealer. Our technicians are factory-trained and certified in the latest procedures and technologies to maintain your generator and equipment to the highest of standards. We are certified to cover warranty claims and diagnose and repair any generator problem that may arise. Firmware updates, generator troubleshooting, electronic code resets, fault code clearing will also be performed during your scheduled generator maintenance and repair call. 

GenReady, Inc. shall perform (1) Generator Preventative Maintenance Service each year during the same month each year for your generator service. This is an oil change and we will perform all necessary services based on factory-recommended hourly increments that your generator has reached. We will also perform a thorough check of all your generator systems.

Any necessary generator repairs found while performing these services will be brought to the Customer’s attention. GenReady, Inc. will make such generator repairs only at the customer’s request. All additional generator repairs will be invoiced separately at standard labor rates and pricing for parts. 

Under high use, extra generator maintenance service may be required to maintain your generators' compliance with manufacturers’ recommendations. Please contact us if you experience extended usage times. 

Semi-Annual Generator Service contract dates can be rescheduled to accommodate extra maintenance visits at no charge in some cases. NON-Emergency interim service requests will be billed at standard trip/labor/parts rates.

Upon request, GenReady, Inc. shall notify the Customer prior to entering the property to complete scheduled generator maintenance, generator repairs, and generator service. Customer shall give GenReady, Inc. access to the equipment for the purpose of performing generator maintenance and generator repair services.

GenReady is a warranty station for Generac generator repairs. All Generac generators come with a 5 year limited warranty. You may also purchase extended warranties to extend the protection of your investment.
